The Caps beat MOntreal 2-0 Sturm scored his first goal as a cap as a puck was airbound he swung it home then Smein added insurance with a score Holtby a SO unexplainably down to Hershey Smein scored vs Canes on a drive where he flung one up and in short side then Marcus drove dked backhand to forehjand for the stuff but 2 goals by Canes and none by the Caps in the SO spelled doom before the Caps could get their third man an attempt Ovie gave a shoddy attempt then Nik flung one wide after having some space to dpeosit Caps play Colu,mbuis next they will struggle to ctach Philly even 5 in a row might not do it GO CAPS!!!!!

The Caps beat Flers in the OT SO when they struck for 3 staright and win it 5-4 Nik struck first on a s weet wrister that went in his 18th from Laich then Knuble drove the net and flipped it in his 20th from Cjimera and Marcus Wideman fired a slapper that went in his fuirst goal since becomiing a cap then Flers scored twice making it a one goal lead for them with 5 minutes left but Johanson slapped a one timer over the foot of the gopalie and toied it then the SO saw Hendricks socre then Nik sent one 5 hole Mark pulled a sweet fake shot then deke around and finsih around the outsrectdhed leg then SMein deked to his bakchand and fginsihed roof side for the W GO CAPS they lead the East now

The Caps played well in Motown but a 3rd period strike went unaswered and they drop 3-2 Carlson a slapper hit net and Ovie wrister went in 3-0 was th final in the Caps favor in Jersey where Neuvirth returned to net after Holtby was not great as he had been in Dteroit so Mike blanks the Devs Knuble scored twice one a one timer he sent to the mid roof and the other a stuff in in fornt of a nice pass from Carlson who found him sitting in the craese and he delivred an on the tape pass SHultz added his 1st of the year on a slapper that went in. Neuvirth 33 saves and the SO Caps only 12 shots but some nice chances led to three strikes GO CAPS!!!!!!

The Caps beat the Canes 2-1 Ovie fired a wrister that hit net and Hendricks had a rebound stuff in that was the gamewinner Hoiltby real solid in net he was the NHL first star of the week Then the Caps get the 4-3 OT win after Chicago scored real late on a 6 on 4 to tie Boyd scored a shoirty on a wicked writer far top corner Then Anrott fired a slapper from the point on the PP that hit net Laich was fed in the slot and delivered a one timer that went in then Knuble in OT fed down loe with his back to the net bakchands through the crease then stuffs forehand little flip that goes in Holtby real good allowed the late goal that hurt but was still solid making a real good case to be the Caps number 1 in net with Smeyon coming back though he might be back down to Hershey but i think he deserves to keep starting so maybe S

The Caps played 2 solid 60 minute games and came up with 2 wins important wins that put thewm at the top of the Southeast and once again making a push for the Presidents trophy Nik onetiedm a swet feed from Ovie top corner his 17th from Ovie and Knuble Boyd picked up a juicy rebound and backhanded it home his 2nd from carlson and Hendricks then Smein one timed one in OT five hole for the GW his 23rd from Johanson and ALzner Neuvirth 32 saves he left after 1period in Tampa though after taking a shot to the head Holtby remarkble as relief didnt allow a single thing past him making some great acrobatic saves to boot saving sure goals the Casp trailed after 1 and didnt tally til late 3rd when Smein fired a wrister that hit net his 24th from Wideman and Ovie Arnott missed a open net bacjkhanded one wide off a wuick feed he had space but failed but the Caps go the SO where Ovie dekes and fires one up and in And Hlotby stops all 3 Tampa shooters so even though Smein misssed a chacne for the kikll in the SO the Caps didnt need it Caps play Oilers next Holtby 21 saves and 1st star Smein 2nd LETS GO CAPS!!!!
