The Wiz Beat the Nets I mean they whooped the Nets 123-104. It was 12 after 3 but the fourth the Wiz made shots played solid D and allowed there lead to become insurmountable. Blyahce Big game 15-18 30 pts (i once was 16-19 in a pickup streetball game) 6 rebs 2 ass 1 stl and 1 blk that's filling out your stat sheet. Gil Big night 9-13 32 pts 1reb 7 dimes 1 stl. Miller 3-6 9 pts 11 rebs 3 ass 2 stl and like ive said prior he rebounds well for a 2 or 3 and a team needs that position to rebound becuz the bigs 4 and 5 dont always get the board. Brendan 4-10 10 pts 7 rebs and 1 blk. Randy man savage 7-12 17 pts 3 rebs 8 ass 1 stl big night Deshwan 10 pts on 4-6 6 rebs 2 ass 1 stl big night off the bench. Young 5 Javale 5 and he caught some sweet oops. Overall 48-78 61.5% Nets 37-80 46.3%. 3s 9-14 64.3% FTs 18-23 78.3 %36 rebs 28 dimes 6 stls 2 blks and 13 tos. Caps Fall in OT

The Caps played a solid game on the offense and PP but some Defense really had you upset and shokced because as Carig Laughlin reffered to it as loosey goosey. Ovie started off with a one time slapper through the five hole on the PP his 14th from Green and Aucoin. Islanders tie it up. Then Mike Green whiffes on a pass and an Islander is there to scoop it up and shoot it in 2-1. Then Fleichman makes a large impact with a rap around tuck in the golaie played it a Cap got it quick to Tomas who needed to whacks to get it in th net his 1st from Calrk. Then Felichman would stash a rebound into the net on the PP his 2nd from Green and Backstrom 3-2. Ilsanders would tie it up 3-3 headin into OT where the Isles would skate into the zone go behind the net by 3 Caps and feed a pass to a man right in front and Bang Bang it's over 4-3 but hey it's not a regulation loss so at least the Caps get a point that point is try not to be so loosy goosy right Craig. Next up Columbus visits Verizon on SUnday at 5:00 Jose 26 saves Caps PP 2-6 Isles 0-3 Tomas your first star Ovie honorable mention. Let's Go Caps!!!

Caps Beat Thrash

Well this one started out great Caps jumped out to a 3-0 lead and hit an empty net made it 4-2 then a real late goal that i think was too late but hey i dont even think the Caps were on the ice for that one as players probaly headed to the bench woith a 2 goal lead and 3-4 secs left but on espn's website he's credited with the ;ate tally. Fiurst goal Ovie fires the one time slap bomb for his 12th from Green and Laich on the PP. Then he gets a breakway on a skipping saucer and fires it in wrister over the shoulder his 13th from Backstrrom The third was a Bredan Morrison kicking a pass to himslefd and slapping off the hand of the goalie and it gos in 3-0 his 4th from Ovie and Laich on the PP. Atl scores and scores again but with the empty net Knuble fires in a slapper 4-2 45 secs left his 3rd from laich and then as time expires they get a late goal with the Caps leaving the ice going to the becnh so hey count it if you want but i wouldnt and it was too little too late anyway. Semyon great game 38 saves many real good ones and he was solid because he had to face alot of shots and hey he was prolly caught off guard since so many of his temates had already skated to the bench on the last one so he was like hey guys this 5 on 1 aint cool. He also stopped a panlaty shot PPs Caps 2-5 Atl 1-2.First star AO Varly 3rd Honorable mention Laich with 3 A and B Mo Caps play the Islanders tommorow in Verizon and the WIz face Atl the Hawks in Atl. I'll keep an eye on both but may only waych enough to blog on the Caps game we''ll see ya tommorow in DC and Atl. Caps now have won 6 in a row and are 8-2-2 a great record. SO LET'S GO CAPS!!!!!!!

Caps and Wiz Both Victorious

With the football team out of sorts the other winter time shindigs are playing good Caps getting a big come from behind win over Philly a little payback for an earlier loss and of course the Eagles game. The Caps trailed 2-0 but came back and won 4-2. Ovechkin got the first marker in close firing a wrister top shelf over the shoulder and in his 10th from Backstrom adn Shutlz who keeps getting points. Next on the PP a low man would find Nick for a onetimer through the five hole and into the net his 3rd from Smein adn Aucoin. Then Semin would tally firing a wrister high near side over the shoulder and into the net 3-2 his 7th from Green adn Backstrom. Ovie added an empty netter a backhander into the vacant goal 4-2 with 45 ticks remaining and that's thef inal. Jose top star making 41 saves some great big game for him and he;'s playing really well now i take not liking his 1 game exit from last years playoffs so he's trying to solidify the #1 goalie spot and doin a great job so far. Nik 1 G 3 A second star adn AO 2 G third star Semin gets my hinorable mention. PPs Caps 1-4 Flers 2-5 the Caps had a 5 on 3 for 141 but couldnt connect and Hartnell did not score on a noc pass through the crease. Caps have won 5 staright and are once again near the top in the East and Jose stopped a panalty shot. The WIz played Dallas and won 102-91 CB 16 6-17 8 bopards and assist and 2 blks. Oberto 5 points 3 reb 2 ass. Haywood 7 on 3-10 10 reb. Miller 2-4 6 pts 2-3 on 3s 8 reb 2 ass 2 stls and he rebounds well from the 2 spot. Gil 29 on 10-21 9 ass 2 rebs. Foye 19 on 8-14 Blatche 20 on 8-14 so big prduction fromn the bench Nick Young i am siyrprised didnt play but with Deshawn not scoring you might see him losing the backup job to Young nad i think he should cause Young has that great move to open up for hois jumper and its uusally money. Overall 39-84 46.4 4-13 3s 30.8 20-24 FTs 83.3 46 rebs 19 ass 6 stls 4 blks 9 TOs and they win Dagger The WIz 1-0 Gil lokked good driving dishing and shooting that J. Eagles Fly Past Skins

This one started off horrendopusly and too put it succintly 3 TOs in Skins territory that the Eagles got all resulted in points. A pick 6 off a batted ball a JC strip fumble and Randel El letting a punt bounce off his facemask. The good thoing the SKins D held Philly to 3 and outs but they still convreted long FGs and the rest of their offense came on 2 big plays a reverese and a bomb both were Desean TDs. The SKins put up 10 in the first half on a TD lob to Devin and a 47 yarder as time expired from Shaun who still hasnt missed. The Skins had a chance to makle it a game again but on 4th and goal the worst snap in history occured when JC was in Shotgun and the snap was thrown off the RG ankle what the heck Casey he wasnt under center. A late TD to Davis made it 27-17 but no closer. Eagles racked up 6 sacks and blitzed often. The stats the Skins picked up more ytards 308-262 and more 1st downs 21-11 but it wasnt enough to win. The D can only be faulted for the 2 long plays but the SKins TOs proved to be bad D and resulted in 13 going the other way. JC 29-43 284 and 91.6 QB rating a good game without the TOS and without the TOs like Dallas they would have won. CP 14 for 43 3.1 AVG and he's not getting it done. Rock had a nice 11 yarder to goive the Skins first and goal. Davis 8 catches 78yds and a TD replacing Cooley who broke an angle when he ran a undescive cutting pattern may be out for the year but Dvais played great in his time to shine so now that pick looking beneficial to all the Cerrato haters out there take that. Moss 6 for 74 Thomas 3 for 45 should have had another TD but the bad snap occured and he was open like he was on the first one. El 5 for 39 but he should never reyrn punts again but Hall or mOss back there. Betts 3 for 21 but a screen that didnt gain first down yardeage ona 3 rd was one of them. Cooley 2 for 21 and Sellers 2 for 6. Sad to see Cooley hurt but Davis can make plays in tghis league. Sacks Carter 1 Albert 1 and Reed 1 but we needed a TO and Carter made Mcnabb fumble but apparently the SKins didnt come up with it and i thought for sure thney did because they had 3 players near it and all of them seemed to fall on it but i guess it made have squirted away from them. SKins 2-5 nexct up a bye then a trip to Atl. Wiz open tonight in Dalls and Caps get a visit from FLyers time from some payback to Philadlephia.

Caps Beat Islanders

The Caps started off sleepily as if they werent prepared or didnt know that they were playing a game doin nothing in 2 periods but the third they came alive after allowing a defelction to go in and make it 2 nothing Mike Green came down the ice and blasted a mean slapper high far side for his 2nd from Knuble and Laich. Then Aucoin would rap around and Ovie caused a major ditsractionas he was checked into the golaie and landed on top of the net! But Aucoin would rap around and get a good bounce and the puck went in game tied at 2 Keith's 1st from Ovie and Schultz. Then OT would end suddenly when Green flicked a centering pass and Laich got his stick on it and sent into the back of the net five hole i believ game over 3-2 after when after 45 minutes they trailed 2-0 and were in danger of being shutout and hey there great scoring D provided a mean slapeshot and rookie Keith Aucoin made haste around the net to get his goal and Laich with the great one time wrister so great game and Jose made some great stops the first he allowed was shorthanded and it was a mean shot that he would have to block his five hole with some vigor a save he made not too much ealrier but that one got through but Jose made 28 stops and allowed just 2 goals so his play has been better statwise than Varlamov but Varlamov is winning more and neither have been short of spectacular on saves. PPs Caps 0-4 NYI 0-2 Laich 1st star 1 G 1A ans Green 3rd 1 G 1A. Caps now 6-2-2 riding a 4 game winning streak next up Tuesday Flers come to DC for a Verizon visit on Versus the 3 Vs NIce HUH. Caps Edge Thrashers

The Caps after 2 pewriods looked like they were gonna thrash Atlanta but a 6 on 3 late made it a one goal game and they Caps kept going to the box really late Ovie going on a trip body slam to give ATl another 6 on 4 try but STeckel thrwe the puck the length and game over Caps win it 5-4. Fehr started the scoring on a breakway when he went top shlef for his 1st from Shultz who delivered a great pass that led to the break. Atlanta would tie but then Aucoin found Giroux and he flicked one past the goalie his 1st from Aucoin but again Atl would tie 2-2 after 1 period. Then the Caps would explode in the 2nd SHutz fired a deep pass right after Semyon passed to him and skipped the length taking a big hop and going nbo lie from 180 feet almost the elngth of the ice from Semyon his 1st. Then Matt Bradley would slap a rebound high and in the net after a Shutz blast he did some good balstin there in the 2nd his 3rd from Shlutz and Steckel. Then Calrk would slap a rebound off the boards high and in for his 1st he got the puck and wasted no time putting it in from Green 5-2 after 2 but Atlanta would make it interesting getting help from all the Caps penalties but they would score SH on one Smeyon wish he could have saved and then right as the 6 on 3 expires Atl gets one through then Ovie's penalty but the Caps would kill the remaing time and leave Atalnta with a 5-4 win. ALso in the third Steckel had his stuff attempt slide through the crease get by the goalie but then hit the post and not in that would have made it decisive earlier in the 3rd but no such luck and his late clear he just wanted to get rid of because it would end the game so who cares if it goes in it didnt. Caps had PPs of there own even getting a 45 second 5 on 3 but a few Mike Green bombs and a close stuff up from Nik did not hit net so a big missed oppurtunity. PPS Caps 0-7 Atl 2-8 Semyon 22 saves so his stats take a hit and maybe Jose is in against the Islanders but I will give Smeyon a lot of credit he made some magnifixcent saves. Shutz first star that might be a first for him and then two Thrashers. Next up a trip to NY to face Islanders Saturday and also maybe United's final game of the season adn terps play Duke at 1:30. SO a lot of games Saturday to watch. CAps WIN CAPS WIN!!!!! LET'S GO CAPS!!!!!!!

Skins Lose to Chiefs

Well folks if you can call a game a stinker this was it. I sort of regretted watching it because the Urgundy and Gold had no offense Cambell benched after the first half Todd Collins verdict worse. Portis huge 79 yard run got tackled at the 10 worst place to have a first and goal. He needed to score on that run my thoughts he might have been tired 80 yards is along way to run. Defense great had 5 sacks no TOs Cater 2 Oreakpo 1 Wilson 1 Albert .5 and Daniels the other half so they had pressure and they led after Portis's long run 6-3 but 10-3 would have been huge. JC 9-16 89 yds Collins 6-14 75 yds should left JC alone all though he struggled with some open recivers either being to high or not having enough on the ball. Portis 15 runs 109 yds great game abg 7.3 per but really one great run and the rest not all that helpful and he fumbled. KC also blocked a punt and got a phantom facemask 15 yds penalty and a roughing the passer so peanlties hurt the SKins so did bad officiating but hey wahts new. Cooley 5 for 57 Moss 1 for 42 el 2 for 23 Portis 3-15 Davis 1 for 12 he made a man miss and picked a first down adn got out of bounds but the SKins ran out of time in the first at the 34 and instead of kickinga 53 yarder which i wouldnt recommend the threw a bomb that was picked and Heyer had to make a TD saving tackle so hey maybe just try the FG. ANyways Betts 2 for 11 Sellers 1 for 4 but hey if he didnt step out hew as going a long way. Kelly and Thomas combined for 0 catches and that does not help your team young men establish yourselves as targets and threats some military terms and start getting open and contributing this is embarrising. The really bad thing on a key 3rd down the last play that matters Collins does not real in the snap and loses 6 uyds and 4th and sixtreen you should have gone for it but ZOrn punts cant nokc the call but you need a 3 and out and KC was smart enough to do a play fake and pass for a first game essentially over. There was excitement5 late as KC fumbled on a p[unt return but Skins dobnt recover excitment gone. SO maybe the SKins hopes of reaching the playoffs if they dont start playing better on offense and compared to this game a whole lot better throwing and running and bvlocking. One bright spot to mention Shawun Suisham had noit yet missed a FG but did have an EP blocked. DC UNited betas Columbus best team in the league has hopes of reaching the playoffs. Eagles visit Fed EX a Monday nighter SKins get ready and JC i think he'll be starting at QB with a chance to win back fans and get this SKins team going in the right direction.

Casp Beat Predators

The Caps jumped out to a nice 2 goal lead but allowed the Preds to tie it. It would require OT and i'll tell you about that later but first the gaols. First it was on the PP where a pass to Ovie resulted in the one timer above the leg pad of the goalie as clark was doing a nic job screening the goalie and he never got a good look at his surrouindings from Green and Knuble his 8th goal. Then a long alley oop was flipped to Ovie who got a good bounce off the boards and skated in n dekked and put the puck five hole gis 9th from Morrison who flipped the puck up ice off the glass for a kiss and the baSKET a bball reference. Preds would ytoie it and the thirds wsand OT was scorless. Shootout recap Backstrom denied save Varl;a,mov who was great in this one and had to stop 2 shorthanded beakaways in the first but did allow a flukey goal on a bad angle shot. Ovechkin fakes a hard shot dekes around the ghoalie and fires it up and in. Varlamov denies the next shooter Morrison gets denied an Varlamov makes the third consecutive save batting down the shot Caps win 3-2. PP Caps 1-3 Preds 0-4 and i thought the Caps could have had more PPs but the refs werent given ythem out to the Caps. Ovechkin 1st star Varlamov 3rd with 22 saves and an excellent pewrformance in his first shootout. Caps now 4-2-2 on a 2 gsame winning streak and quite a few days off not playimng til thursday in Atl who is secobd with 8 points but three games fewer played so the Caps woul love to beat them.

Caps Poach Sharks

The Caps got revenge for a bad loss last year and got a big 4-1 win. The first goal was scored by Smein on a 5 on 3 when Nick saucered one over the d stick and Smein had a wide open net and he didnt miss his 6th from Nick and Green. San Jose would tie it 1-1 but Jose would leave the game afetr 20 with an undsiclosed injury but Smeyon in 2 periods would allow no goals. Ovie was fed by Knuble a swei backhand saucer and it was right on the money as Ovie tipped it in his 6th from Knuble and zMorrison. Then 28 seconds later Knuble would slap one off tyhen golaie but who's there to score the rwbound Ovie is his 7th from Knuble and Morrison again the fastest 2 goals in Ovie's xcareer and no cant score them too much fatser than that. In the 3rd Matt Bardley would score the insurance goal on a rebound control it and fire it in top shelf near side his 2nd from Jurcina. Caps PP 1-5 Sharks 0-3. Jose made 12 saves and Semyon 15. First Star Ovie of course scorimng twice then Knuble then Smein. Sewmyon adn Bardley were also good choices for stars but they get honorable mention Now there are 5 stars. Next up Nashville visists Verizon on Starurday then alot of off days until the 22nd. Let's GO CAPS!!!!!

Caps Lose SO

The Caps jumped on the Devils ealry scoring 2 first period goals one from Green a great wrister far side top shelf over the glove his 1st from Ovie and Knuble. Then Knuble would fire one that would bounce off Brodewur and in his 2nd from Ovie Devils would tie it up late 3rd when the held the puck in the O zone for 2 minutes the Caps could not get it and a pass to the guy in front of the net was shot for a goal. The SO Jose allowed a goal after he saved the puck he appeared to slip and it rolled in just a fluky goal Nik socred high shelf but Ovie and Semin could not net goalds and the Caps get a point but lose and are now 2-2-2 average but they will get this ship righted and start winning I'm sure of it. Next up San Jose visists Verizon Thursday and the Caps are hungry for a win.

Caps lose to detroit Skins Lose to Panthers

The Caps got an early goal from Bradley from poti and gordon his 1st. Another one from Morrison who is scoring goals ealry this year his 3rd from Ovechkin that tied it up in the 3rd but a late penalty hurt the Caps and they lose 3-2. PPs Dertoit 2-5 Caps 1-3 Jose 34 saves but not enough goals to earn points. Devils visist verizon Monday. The SKins lose after leading the whole game a key fumble occured when westbroiok was pushed into El and Carolina recovereed but i thought more space was needed and it could have been a flag but it wasnt. Carolina scores the Td and goes on to win 20-17. The Skins got turnovers and got great field position from them i believe Golston forced one and ALbert recovereed. Then Hall had a pick and ran it 44 yds to the 1. Both tiems Portis scored once on a screen and the other running. Devin Thomas dropped a deep ball that hit him right in his hands. Cambell 17-23 fro 145 and a 104.4 QB rating but that drop was huge. Portis 19 rushes for 57 yds. Mason 1 for 6 Betts 2 for 8 and a buig 3rd down conversion. Moss 4 for 44 El 3 fro 28 Thomas 3 for 19 Davis 3 for 23 Portis 2 for 17 Kelly 1 for 8 Betts 1 for 6. Sacks Carter 2.5 Orakpo .5 and he had one called back on a neutral zone infractcion. Next up KC visists fedex field and the Skins need to start a winning streak by wiining at home vs KC and Philly then Atl.

Caps Lose to Rangers

The Caps got bad goaltending again as Jose was beat bad 5 hole twice to erase the Capa lead and they fall 4-3. Smein scored his 5th on a noce cross ice fead from Pothier and he went 7 hole through the arm from Pothoier 2 goals from the Rangers in the 2nd made it 2-1 but Backstrom fired from behind the blueline and hit low corner net for his 1st from SLoan then he added another on the PP on a nice passing play where he hit top shelf far sidehis 2mnd from Laich adn Smein but the lead was relinquished Jose made 25 saves adn Nick was 2nd star next up a Satuerday trip to Detroit. Caps 2-1-1 have 5 point.

Caps Lose In OT

In a game that had no scoring in the 1st period the second had 7 goals. The Caps traile by 1 but Ovie would fire his 4th far side low from Bradley adn Nik. The Ovie would get it right in front go backhand and fire a quick shot in the net his 5th from Nik he leads the lead in goals scored. Semin would deke though 2 degfenders and and fire one five hole his 3rd from green adn Morrison. Then Smein would score on the PP fire one that found net his 4th from Nik and Ovie. Morrison would give the Caps afive four lead after a rebound landed on him he breaked and the puck flew into the net his 2nd from Bradley and Laich but Boyd had an ill advoised penalty and it ended up to be a PP goal for Philly tying it up at 5-5. But Smein would be hooked down ona breajkway i thought there shoiudl have been a penalty shot with 53 second left but the Caps fail to score and late in Ot a rebound is put past Jose who came in after Semyon got pulled and the Caps lose but they had three fewer PP 1-5 while Philly had 9 3-9. Semyon 21 saves Jose 14 Ricahards had the hatrick for Phjilly and got first star Ovie seemingly always a star had 2 G 1 A and Briere who had the gamewiiner was 3rd star. a game the Caps should have one espcially with that short 4-3 in OT but i feel Ovie didnt shoot when he had a great one time feed and that cost them. Next up a visit from the Rangers who come to Verizon Thursday at 7pm the team the Caps beat in 7 ga,mes in round one of the playoiffs a year ago. SHould be a good one usually is whenever the Caps take the ice.

Skins Beat Bucs

The Skins gave Tampa an early big break fumbling and giving Tampa the ball on the ten when Jason was sacked. They would score a TD on 2nd down. The SKins would not score the first half and Tampa would have 10 and they missed 2 long FGs in the first half 48 and 49. The SKins would come out with a red hot offense in the 3rd putting up 16 points because they had an EP blocked. Hall had a big pick where he read the QBs eyes and went to double a reciver stepped in front and picked it off bringing it back 22 yards on a play where Laron threw a nice block. Shawn would kick a 41 yarder right through and make it 10-3. The SKins D would force the punt and then JC would find Cooley for a TD 17 yards 10-9 EP blockld because nonone blocked the BUC. D force another punt on on the first play JC finds Moss deep for a 59 yarder TD16-10. The BUcs would manage only a FG once they got first and goal but their QB was stopped weell short on a 3rd down scoramble 16-13 which was the foinal. Then the SKins moved the ball and had a 3rd and 5 with 2minutes left to ice the win but Portis would get 4 and the SKins would punt with Suisham cuz Hunter got hurt and Suisham had 2 good kicks and one stinker. He would kick to the 19 and the D would force a fumble on a 3rd and 1 when Jarmon slapped the ball loose and Hirton recovered game over after a few kneels. JC 12-22 170 yds 2 TDs 3 Ints and a 70.5 QB rating. CP 25 carries for 98 yds 3.9 AVg goog game JC 7 for 20 Mason 2 for 8 really 1 for 8 1 for 0. Moss 2 grabs for 74 Cooley 5 for 65 Betts 3 for 21 Sellers 1 for 11. davis 1 for -1 and too many teams the SKins owuld have noone open and throw a late developing screens which didnt pan out and usually losta yard, Fletcher Orakpo and Tryon got sacks and the D was strong but the O had that one explosive quarter and it was ebnough to beat Tampa at Fed EX. Next up SKins go to Carolina for 1;00 showdown. Skins want to win it. terps beat Clemson but Terps games not being televised localy only have seen 1 game the opener vs Cal and missed the last 4 hopefully i start seeing some Terp games.

Caps win vs Toronto

The Caps jumped out to a staggering lead in this one scoring goal after goal mounting a 6-1 lead after 2 and won 6-4 after a shaky 3rd that had great scorimng chances by Ovie just missing. Ovie scored early in the 1st going 5 hole his 3rd from Backstrom and Smein. Knuble would score on the PP cleaning up a rebound his 1st from Calrk and Ovie. Laich would score on a breakaway backhand forehand and into then net his 3rd from Jurcina and Morrsion keepoing pace with the MVP Ovie. Troronto would make it 3-1 on a nice passing play. But Smein controlled a rebound and fired it in his 1st from Erskine who balsted the shot. MNorrsion would get a breakway and backhand one top shelf his 1st from Green adn Laich. Then Smein would drive to the net go bakchand passed the goalie and score his 2nd from Ovie backstrom. 6-1 Caps heading to the third and im thinkung noway they can give this one up but they allow three goals in the thirs and make it somehwat close late but the Caps would win 6-4 failing to score with 2 minyues of empty net time. 1st star Semin 2 goals and assist. 2nd star Ovie 1 goal 2 A and third Laich 1 G 1 A. Varlamov was busy making 27 saves but allowed 4 goals high for him. PPs Caps 1-3 Leafs 0-3 and the Caps have not allowed a PP goal in 8 tries and are 4-7 so their special teams are great. Caps are 2-0 and looking to top the East this year and forget about 2nd place maybe have the best record but that only pays off in the finals if you get there. Expect Jose back in net and maybe a split of time beteween Jose and Varlamov who did make some nice saves in this one but allowed many goals but hey not six so it was enough to win.

Caps Pound Bruins 4-1

The Caps opned there season in Boston and played great especially on the PP where Laich had 2 goals his first assisted by Backstrom and Ovechkin on a rebound he controled and sent into the back of the net. Then Ovechkin was the trailer on a nice passing play and either sent into low corner or five hole from Smein adnBacktrom. Then Laich would be infront for another rebound he would poucne on and score his 2nd from Backstrom adn Smein. Ovechkin would then get a feeed while driving to the net and sluip this one into the low corner for his 2nd from Poti and Laich. That made it 4-0 and 7.56 inot the 3rd Boston woould score but just that once 4-1 your final. Caps were 2-4 on the PP and Boston was 0-5. 50% PP and 100% PK great numbers if they could keep those up all year. Theo 19 saves 95% Save Pctg. 1.00 GAA . Caps 1-0 and get their home opner Saturday vs Toronto. Let's Go CAPS!!!!!!!!! Oy Yeah the three stars Ovie first 2 G 1 A Laich 2nd same stats and Backtrom 3rd with 3 helpers i thought Jose would get one but he was snubbed.
