The Caps took control of this one in the 1st scoring 3 before Cbus had one and that was enough fro Jose as he allowed 2 and made some brilliant saves himslef the first was a pretty back and forth pasing play that found Smein with room and time to fire a top corner slpaper his 38th from Laich and Sloan Then Fleichamn finsihed a 2 on 1 when he stuffed in his 22nd from Knuble and fehr Then Mike Green fires a mean slpaper that hit nothing but net his 19th unassisted Cbus would score on a 2 on 1 the a feed in front woiuld be fired home but they had a long 5 on 3 and the Caps killed it and that was huge for them in this one tonight and they win 3-2 PPs Caps 1-6 Cbus 0-3 Jose 34 saves and 1st star faceoffs 30-21 Caps Hits 14-21 Cbus Shots 27-36 Cbus but the Caps win and imoproive to 51-15-12 a new team reocrd for wins and they will most likely add to it before the playoffs 4 games left next up Boston visists Verizon Monday @7:00 and the Caps look to lock up the Presidents trophy with 1 point needed for them to get that trophy and clicnh home ice vs anyone they play SO LETS GOP CAPS BUST BOSTON UNLEASH THE FURY ROCK THE RED!!!!!!!
