The Caps played this one with some new editions and one paid huge dividends Walker scoring twice and the Caps won 4-5 in front of the home crowd some where they havent been in 24 days Semyon in net made some important svaes and Corvo got his teammates respect early with a hughe hit along the boards Belanger showed speed and d but i was unhappy without Stecks and Brads they guys play well and deserev a spot in the lienup. the Caps played well and scored some big 3rd period goals and beat a southeats rival. THE GOALS the first was the first was Fehr when he stole a pass at mid ice and went to the wing then fired a quick hard wrister over the shoulder of the netminder and top corner hit net his 16th unasssidted. Tampa would tie it on a deflection 5 hole but Knuble would socre on a 2 on 1 when he got a great pass and sent it flying past the post and into the back of th enet his 24th from Laich and Brendand Morrison Then Knuble would locate a puck in front and stuff it low corner his 25th form Nik and Ovie. Then tampa scored when a man had space middle of the o zone and fired aquick one past Smeyon. Scott walker a new guy would get to a puck that hit something before it got to net and he bakchanded a hard one five hole his 4th from Green and Boyd. The Tampa scored on a break there guy faked a slapper and slipped a wrister into the net. Then a quick passing play to the fornt would tie it but walker would score the same exact way his first one was only this bakchander hit a leg before hitting net the golaies leg but it still went in his 5th from Green and CHimera and that was it for the scoring Caps get the win. PPs Tampa 2-5 Caps 0-3 really 0-2 cuz there was a panlty called with 11 ticks left when Ovie was trying to get the empty netter he was hooked facoofs 28-33 Caps Hits 19-20 Caps Shots 29-34 Caps Walker was 1st star 2 G Nik was 3rd with 1 A Smeyon made 25 svaes once when the Tampa goalie lost ghis stcik it laid right on the goaline lucky for him cuz Broooks beat him 5 hole and the fallen stick saved a goal danrit!!!
