Caps Stun NYR

The Caps played another terrific inspired game tonight not getting down after NY's PP kept getting goals but the Caps rally and play another domiant 3rd period winning 6-5 in NY at MSG. The first goal was NY the first tally a tip in fornt that eluded Josebut Boyd would answer on a nifty passing play and he got the drop pass and one time drilled top shelf and into the net his 3rd from Dave and Matt 1-1 then Ny scores again simlar to trhe caps 1st goal actually just like it beat Jose up top then another sweet passing play Ovie behind and around the net drops to Backstrom who dishes behind the back to Knuble Ny goalie couldnt keep up and Knuble drills the shot into the back of the net his 20th from Nik and Ovie 2-2. Caps take the lead when Ovie sets up on the point PPG setup and wristes one under the glove over the leg 7 holer into the back of the net his 37th from Nik a PPG. Then a fortunate riccochet goes right to NY and Jose falters 3-3 then a 5 on 3 Ny has they score on a quick passing play then another fortuante bounce goes there way Jose got bumped but no call 3-5 NY but Ovie makes it a one goal game at the end of the 2nd when slips the puck behnd the d gets it back and stuffs off the pads of the goalie it bounces high and goes over the shoulder and falls past the goal line his 38th from Nik. To the 3rd Caps score twice NY 0 thef irst Poti wrsits one i think Knuble got a stick on it but Poti gets credit it hist nothing but the back of the ent his 3rd from Nik and Flash a PPG the Nik nets the game winner when Knuble cant get his stick on it to score a stuff it bounces back to where Ovie and Nik are ste up and Nik got the first and slapped one low corner into the back of the net his 24th from Falsh and M Knuble 6-5 Caps that's how it would end faceoffs 37-34 Caps Hits 28-33 NYR SHots 32-38 NYR PPs Caps 3-9 NYR 4-6 Jose 33 saves and some sweet ones tro boot 1st star Ovie 1 G 2 A 2nd Nik 1 G 4 A Caps have won 12 stariught adding to their perosnal best next up Atlanta visists DC tommorow and they have traded their top gun to NJD Caps now 39-12-6 still best in the league 84 pts so add another Caps LETS GO CAPS LETS GO AT HOME IN VERIZON!!!!!!!!
