Caps Lose to Montreal in OT

The Caps had to claw back down 2-5 in the 3rd they rallied for 3 goals but with 7 ticks left in Ot Montreal scored a backbreaker that sent the Caps to there first loss in a long time and i really wanted this to go to shootout and the last chacne of the game possibly ended it bad for the Caps. Lauch had a hatrick though and deflected a crosiing pass with 18 ticks left to tie it and sent it to OT so hey the Caps win streak got them to the top of the NHL and a point dont hurt as bad as a regulation loss so there is a positive into sending oit to extra time The goals the first was Mon holdintg the puck alomng time apss to the middle half was placed past Neuvirth then the Caps tied on Laich scoring on a pretty deke after apretty pass to him he goes bnackhand forehand and stuffs it in his 18th from Falsh and Semin then Mon scores when apuck defelects off a cap right to a candiend in front with Neuvirth unaware the net opned to muich and it was an easy stuff. But the Caps would strike right back on a sweet passing play Nik fed Ovie for the one timer but Ovie reurned it back to Nik who had alot of room to wrist fire the puck into the back of the net 26th from Ovie and Green Mon would then score 3 in arow the 3rd off the skate passed infront deflection they reviwed but so no kick only the turning of the skate and it was allowed then some well p[laced wreisters made it 2-5 but a strabnge play in the second Ovie crashed a d into the goalie puck goes in but not allowed cuz of incidental contact i thought it was a great goal and initially ruled a score was reversed but the Caps would get a Green wrister ealry 3rd shot in the right spot his 14th from Nik Laich wouyld tally on a 2 on 1 instead of pasisng he wrsaited one real fast 5 hole his 19th no assists the he would redirect another puck 5 hole his 20th 3rd of the ga,me from Knuble and Ovie back to back hatricks for the Caps first Ovie last game and Brooks this one 5-5 OT but a 2 on 2 at the end of Ot wopuld seee Mon slip amna behind the d and a feed come through the crease to him for the tip in and that ended the game and the Caps illusrtious win streak but they get that point and are now 41-12-7 89 pts 2 ahead of the HSraks and alone in the top spot penthouyse sweet Brooks the 2nd star are you kidding he had 3 goals PPs Caps 1-7 Mon 1-5 Neuvirth 12 saves Jose 21 saves Semnyon looking to return soon is on the trip mauybe hes backl saturday or tommorow cuz Jose was supposed to start that one but got work in this meaning Semyon might be back in net for the Caps tommorow for the first time a quite a while he was great when he was in net eralier this season 12-1-2 fcaeoffs 35-39 Moin Hits 17-15 Caps Shots 38-39 Mon Caps want to start another lengthy streak tommorow in Ottawa they fall just a tre short of tying the alltime win streak record but 14 is still great in my book and Caps fans are proud as they could be of that partuiclura accomplishment hey we got enough games left thois year we can still break it right Caps YEAH LETS GO CAPS IMPEACH THE SNEATORS DOES CANDA EVEN HAVE A SNEATE!!!!!!!!!
