Caps Lose in SO to St Louis

The Caps would fall behind then tie all night and to the SO it went went in the 4th round a bounce off the post hiy Jose in the back and went in and the Caps couldnt proling the game as the save on the opposite ened was made. The Caps get the pt and San Jose lost to the Sabres so they are alone in 1st in the league but just by the slimmest of leads so now to the Olympics where some Caps will play hockey form their countries and not DC so it might draw my interest but not like the Caps do. BVlues scopred 1st but Knuble would tie when Green whoiffed on a shot it went right to Mike in front and he stuuffed it into the back of the net his 22nd from Green adn Semin a PPG a 2 on 1 for St Louis had a high shot go top conrer and Jose wasnt their to stop it but SMein would come back and fire a wrister top corner oin a good cycle Semin 20th from B Morrison adn laich but abounce that Jose didnt dtect ended up going over his shoulder and score 2-3 but Knuble would tie when Bakcstrom drove to the net and flipped a shot off a d it layed in the crease and Knuble bnachhand shoiveled it into the back of th ent his 23rd form Nik and Green Knuble almost had a hatrivck after Nik skated in Mike slipped behind the d Nik passed Mike cuaght dropped uit and tried the stuff but was denied would have been 4 straight 3 goal hatricks for the Caps tuying the reocrd but it wasnt to be. the shootourt had Smein robbed Nik and Ovie tried 5 hole stufffs and B Mo the alst try he went over the leg but couldnt get that socring touch and the Bluees win that one in 4 rounds 0-1 Knuble 3rd star 2 G PPs Caps 2-6 Blues 1-6 faceoffs 43-28 Caps Hits 19-22 Blues Shoyts 34-36 Blues but i give the Caps alot of credit for that one point cuz they had to kill abou 1:20 worth of 5 on 3 and they did that and then killed 40 more ticks on a PP and that got them to OT but they couldnt score ibn the SO and it should have gone longer i think Jose thought the play was over after the shot hit the post and the puck caught him on the backside lucky break for the Blues cost the Caps that extra point game over but agood one nonetheless next
