Caps Drop to Ottawa

The Caps played a poor d game tonight but almost had another comeback but they fall 5-6 Semyon letting some through he wishes he could have saved Semin a hatrick three games 3 of those for the Caps and they led 4-3 but a late 2nd period tally tied it and 2 form the Sens in the 3rd to just Semin's goal was the 3rd ans Smein had a chance for a forth but fired too quick and it went wide had he controlled first he could have scored his 4th but he was trigger happy. Ottawa score dthe first 2 one of a fcaeoff was shot in and a roofer was the other then Fleichman wristed one 7 hole that hit the back of the net his 18th from Semin and Green then Ottwaa made iut 1-3 on a shoit over Semyon's leg that went in Shlutz would fuire a long wrister hjust inside the blue line top corner into the net his 3rd from Ovie and Green the Smein struck with a wrister that hit net his 27th from Laich another wrister went roof and in from the other ALex his 28th from from B Morrison adn Laich then the 3rd was Ottawa scoring twice lat in the second a juciy rebound got hit just past the line a goal barely 4-4 then a 5 holer and a wrsiter beat Smeyon Semin scored his 3rd another well shot wrister his 29th from noone 5-6 then pulled the goalie but no great chance came from it and the game was over senidng the Caps out of Canada 0-2 and 1 pt to show for it PPs Caps 0-2 Sens 2-2 faceoffs 35-34 Caps Hits 22-24 Sens Shots 24-28 Sens and one thing Ottawa ewxcelled in wasblocking shots as they would get in the wy of numerous Caps shots Semyon 22 saves but showed some rust and he hasnt played in 30 games and tonight he wasnt sharp like he usualy is and they were some shots he should have stopped but i think hell be in top form if he gets to play Sat in St Louis 2nd star Smein he sghoiuld have been 1st 3 G and 1 A thats top star in my book even if you dont win Lat game before a long breajk Caps dont get back onto the ice becuase of the winter Olympuics til March 3rd so a long break in the NHL action so Caps would like the break to come after a big win in ST LOuis they need that now and im sure theyt are dissapointed leaving Candad after 2 games with just 1 point. LETS GO CAPS SHOW THEM HOW TO SLUG SHOTS LIKE ALBERT PUJOLS!!!!!!!!
