Semin returned and had 4 points Caps many PPs maybe the refs trying to make up for the lack the Caps have been recently not getting and the score 3 PPGs 2 on 5 on 3 where the Caps wasted no time scoring on the first shot both tries. The first goal Semin gets it skates in and fires top shelf near side into the net his 10th assissted by Laich. Then Felcihamn is on the back end of a nice pasiing play and fires a wrister past the glove and into the baclk of the net his 8th from fehr and Morrison. Matt Bradley scores a shorthanded goal the Casp first of the year as he fires a wrister low and by the goalie his 5th no assists needed 3-0 Caps. Backtsrom in front of the net on a 5 on 3 and he slams home the pass his 7th from Smein and Morrsion. Then Morrsion fires a mean one time slapper far side low past the goalie and into the bakc of the net his 9th from Smein and Green. Then Smein socres again as he is in front gets the pass in slides it beneath the goalie and in his 11th and he had 2G 2 A 1st star of the game in his return. Panthers would add 2 goals late around 3 minuites left Smeyon gicves up a juicy rebound right bakc to the shooter whoc scores then a defelction he couldnt stay with 6-2 your final. Brendand Morrison 2nd star 1 G 2 A Smeyon 3rd star 26 svaes almost had the shutout and i know he was mad about losing the shutout but those were real tough ones to save. caps 44 shots Flo 28 PPs Caps 3-12 Flo 0-5 so now i wont be upset at the refs not in this one. Caps improve to 17-5-6 40 pts tied atop the East caise Penguins keep winning as do the Caps. Next up a trip to Philly Sat AO's last game being suspended im sure the Caps thought the penalty harsh but he will not partcicpate and retrun instead the following game so the Caps want to win and theyll need a performance like tonight becuase everyopbne played solid and they have to do the same in Philly. LETS GO CAPS BEAT THE FLYERS in PHILLY!!!!!!!!
