Caps Roll Down on Avalanche

The Caps played so well in this one that they had a 5-0 lead with 6 1/2 minutes to go in the 2nd period and the game pretty much over it would have taken a great effort to get 5 in that shoirt a time and not give up any. Laich did kick a puck in but before it crossed the line i blieve he got his stick on it but it was ruled no goal. The same happened to COlrado when the puck was under Jose and a Cap checked a Av into him and the puck went in that goal was also dissaolowd i belive cuz they saw a extra shove from the AV. GOAL RUSH The first goal was a jucy rebound that Fleihcman controlled flipped to his foreghand and slipped it through the legs and into the back of the net his 12th from fehr and Wilson. Wilson, Jyle getting his 1st game in the NHL a succesful one he had 2 assists and some great chances to score one a breakaway and one a raparound. Next Ovie would find a cuttimng Knuble and he deked to his backhand and slipped the puck in past the goalie and into the net his 6th from Ovie and Nik. Then Steckel would fire in a rebound top shelf his 2nd from Bradley adn Clark 3-0 then Fleichman would get agreat pass from Wilson who had intercep[ted a clearing pass fed the front of the net and flecgman redirected it past the goalie and in a sweet play his 13th fro Wilson. Then Bradley would get coral a shot off the boards be even with the goal line so he had to bank it in off the back of the goalie's leg and he did justr that a mean cut that sent the puck off the golaie and in with a kiss his 6th from Erskine and Clark. Avs scored on a rebound tip in then Nik would get the puck after a weak pass either tipped or touched to ligtly Poti kept in with a dive it went to B. MO who tapped it to Nik in front and he he dekled backhand forhenad and lsipped it past the goalie a PPG his 11th from Morrison and Poti 6-1 the final. Jose 27 saves Shots 25-28 Colorado PPs 1-2 Caps 1-5 Col Felichamn top star 2 G Bradley 2nd 1 G 1 A and WIlson 3rd star 2 A not bad for a debut Kyle keep up the good work Quentin Laing sakiting again with a fecemask on adn SMeyon some light skating could be ready by this weekened definiltey next week at the latest Caps need him back ASAP so he and Theo can play the back to bakc games Fri and Sat. Next up a trip to Vancouver on Friday then Edmonton Sat boith 10:00 opening faceopffs. LETS GO CAPS STAY HOT ON THE WEST SIDE TRIP AND DONT BE TRIPPIN!!!!!
