The Caps had a scare in this one not the fear of a loss but fear of their most productive players helath as Ovie collided knee on knee was given a 5 minute major another one they have had 3 or 4 and i dont think they even had one lasyt year and a game misconduct but id ont think he could have played any more anyway as he skated off the ice gingerly hopefully he wont miss any time as the Caps have Tuesday and Wednesday off i think its just a bruise or a light starin but he shoiuldnt miss any more games. Carolina struck firts on a pP when a puck slipped through people Caine got it deked and beat Jose. Then Ovie would be on cycly with his line pass it to thr front with Giroux and Bakctsrom there and Nik would stick it past the golaie and into the net 1-1 his 5th from Ovie and Giroux. Then Nik would be on a 2 on 1 semnd it over to fehr who buried it into the back of the net Fehr scores another and has had some big goals to his credit recently his 7th from NIk. In the seocond Nik would sakte withe puck goalie following him to the side then he 360s and fires backhand as the goalie overpuirsued and hits the bakc of the net his 6th from Fehr who replaced ovie on the top line 3-1. After a few empty net just misses i mean no room between the post and the puck Carolina struck as they had a s6 on 4 at the end but the gola was with 15 ticks left and it would not be tied 3-2 the final Nik the first star 2 golas a A his 18th carerr 3 point effortJose was 2nd star 38 saves and some dazzlers fun top watch saves Fehr 3rd with a AG and a A Shots Car 40 Caps 33 PPs Caps 0-5 Caines 2-7 and im waiytng and waiting for the Caps to get moree PPs as they havent had nearly as many as the opponent recently i hope that tend chancges. Caps now 16-5-6 or 19-8 38 pts Pitt won today so they stay tied atop the East with the Pens. Next up Florida visists Verizon Thursday then a long road trip for the Caps so they still need wins to put space bewteen them and whoever is near or with them Jose and Smeyon both playing great Semyon better numbers but was outstanding tonight i wonder who will start on Thursday and will Ovie play all of that is now a tossup. LETS GO CAPS IN VERIZON!!!!!!!!!!
