Terps advance in ACC Bracket

This was a must win fro the Terps another loss would send them to the NIT if that and who wants to be in that tournament cetrainly not Gary Williams and his squad adn they beat the Wolfpack again this time 74-69. I only got to see bits and pieces cuz i was busy watching the Caps but i got to see about ten minutes during which the Terps outscoired there opponent by 7.Grevis hit a big three late and Hayes went 5-6 from deep and David Neale the portly forward who is forced into the center role on this undersized squad hit a couple of threes too making both his attempts. Hayes led in points with 21 next was Grevis rhymes with beavis only if Neale's name was NUtthead now that would be something. Mosley had a huge layuop late and tha kfuly Dino gregory at least made the first free throw of a 1 and 1 but missed the second. The Terps combined to shoot 9-16 from beyond the arc a dazzling 56.3 % but did get outrebounded 32-24 which i think might have always been this cazse this year as teams witha ctual centers get boiard after board. They had 13 tos to Ncstate 12. If they hope to win against Wake which they need to cement hopes of NCAA March madenss invite ithink a win tehre will do it for there tourney hopes right now they are iffy and bubbley. Theya re 19-12 but 20 wins should be enough for a spot. They play tommorow night at 7 vs Wake and i will be watching that game because it is better than WIz vs well anybody but they play Dwight Mighty Howard and the Magic so the Terps situation is more important. It should be hard fought and hopefully the Terps can keep fariq AMinou off the glass and win the biggest game of the year. If they win that one they may win the ACC tournament.
