Ovie another goal but caps fall in shootout

I didn't blog about Caps loss to Carolina a game they would have loved to win becaause that pretty much would have sealed the division to them but they lost after Green tied it at 1 with his 28th the third belonged to the Canes when twice a d got open in front with time and Jose appeared to be a Muslim praying but hey these things happen. Better effort tonight vs Toronto they trailed twice but tied it twice and sent this one to an OT SO situation where the Caps could not find the net against Joseph who came in after a shoving incicdent between Gerber and the refs and eraned Gerber a game misconduct. A D man Oreskovic shot wide but it hit a d in front and fell in it sorta curved. Then Ovie on the PP would tie when he got apass on the wing and blew by d man deked Gerber and baklchanded it in for his 51st from Baklcstrom Green. Then Kubina beat Jose on a late PP after Semin just missed a marvelous chance to give the Caps the late lead after a rebound dribbled through Gerber it wass sitting right on the goaline and Semin whiffed i hate to say it. But Smein would be a main reason the Caps tied after Kibina beta Jose 5 hole as he would flip a backhander trying to bank it off the goalie and in it fell to the ice right like the previous play was buit this time Laich jammed it in with under a minute left and tied it up AT 2 his 19th from Semin and Ovechkin. Hamuiltoin beat Jose in the SO when he deked all the around him and fired one seven hole. Bakctsrom shot first for the Caps but he don't do shjootouts that mucgh and his attempt was saved not enough deking Smein shot one high and wide and Ovie could not get his up after a nice deke he slid his shot off the goalie's leg. Jose 27 saves pretty steady in the shootout too and that first goal he surrebnderd was a flukey one. Caps get a needed point would have really liked the 2 but theys till lead Canes by 10 with just 7 left. Best way to put it 3 wins guranteed them a division title and three is only neccessary if the Canes win all the remaining seven. Two would likeley be wnough and one win still prolly would be 2 but they need about 4-6 ponits out of a possible 14 and i would be just shocked if they don't get hot vs Tampa again and take the suspnese away from the final 6 games although im sure they'll be gunning hard in all the contests regarless of points trying to gear up for the PLAYOFFS. LET'S GO CAPS!!!!!!!!!
